Preparation for routine inspection of bearings

The preparation for routine inspection of bearings is completed in the following six steps

1. Rotate its outer ring and carefully flush the cage, the rolling body and the raceway junction, requiring any hidden parts of the original residual traces of oil thoroughly washed away. After cleaning the bearings should be attached to the cleaning oil drain, placed on a clean neutral liner lined table to dry, or in the far infrared oven slowly drying. Self-cleaning oil and even after drying to dry or drying, the entire process may not rotate the bearing rings, adhere to the frame or any rolling element. Rolling bearings are to be removed from their oil seal packaging just prior to delivery of routine inspections and immersed in 3% oil-containing washing gasoline or non-kerosene.
2. Lubricating oil should be dripped as required and delivered immediately to the bearings that have been dried or dried. At this point, the outer surface of the bearing has no oil film protection. The entire inspection process should not directly touch the human skin. Operators should wear clean gloves or apply rust inhibitor on their hands. However, Appearance, otherwise it will make the measurement deviation.
3. Should be immediately delivered or used for anti-rust inventory handling, the entire inspection process should be completed promptly, the bearings after the inspection is completed. Lest too long lead to rust. Note that the use of pure gasoline without oil cleaning can also cause corrosion.

4. The bearings that have been dried or dried should be dripped and lubricated as required and immediately delivered for inspection. In this case, there should be no oil film protection on the outer surface of the bearing. During the whole inspection process, no direct contact with the human skin should be allowed. Operators should wear clean gloves, Or hands coated with anti-rust agent, but the hands must be avoided rust inhibitor mixed rolling bearing surface, otherwise it will make the measurement deviation.

5. Bearings in the inspection is completed, should be immediately delivered or used for anti-rust inventory processing, the entire inspection process should be completed promptly, so as to avoid prolonged cause of corrosion. Note that the use of pure gasoline without oil cleaning can also cause corrosion.

6. Bearings should be placed on a piece of metal plate within the inspection area together with the measuring block, standard parts and measuring instruments used for inspection before they are inspected, so that the temperature of these articles can be homogenized quickly and become room temperature.

Obviously, only by strictly doing the above preparatory work can we ensure that the inspection result is accurate and the bearing will not be corroded throughout the inspection process.
